Customs fines arise as a result of violation of customs rules. A violation of customs rules is considered to be an illegal action or omission committed by a person aimed at violating the customs legislation of our country and the rules concerning the customs sphere.

• A fine of 100,000 drams is imposed if a vehicle under customs control leaves without authorisation from the customs authority.

• Non-export of goods and vehicles imported into the Republic of Armenia with the obligation of further export within the prescribed period, or non-import of goods and vehicles exported with the obligation of further import within the prescribed period, entails the imposition of a fine in the amount of 50 percent of the amount of customs payments provided for by the customs regime "import for free circulation" on the day of violation, but at least 50 thousand drams., with the alienation of goods or vehicles entails the imposition of a fine in the amount of the customs value of the alienated goods and vehicles.

• Failure to submit a customs declaration for goods and vehicles to the customs authorities within the prescribed period, as well as failure to submit the necessary documents for goods and vehicles for customs control, regardless of the submission of a written declaration, entails the imposition of a fine in the amount of 50,000 drams.

• Non-declaration or declaration of goods and vehicles transported across the customs border of the Republic of Armenia, not by their name or indication of inaccurate information when declaring, resulting in insufficient calculation or non-calculation of customs payments, in the absence of signs of a crime, entails the collection of uncalculated or understated customs payments in accordance with the procedure established by law, as well as a fine in the amount of 50 percent of these customs payments.
