CT3 certificate of origin

CT3 certificate of origin is issued when exporting some goods from Iran to the EAEU countries, including Armenia.

By signing an agreement with the EAEU countries, Iran received preferential export opportunities with the wording of this document. In particular, it is possible to export some types of goods from Iran to EAEU countries, including Armenia, without customs duty, with 0 percent customs duty, or with a reduced rate of customs duty.

Integrating into the creation of a free trade zone with the EAEU countries, Iran has been exporting goods with limited coverage to the EAEU zone in recent years as a privileged partner country. According to estimates of recent years, preferential imports account for about half of the total volume of supplies from Iran to the EAEU.

CT3 certificate of origin is formulated for the main types of products and goods existing in Iran-EEU trade and sale. They are, in particular, the agricultural and industrial groups of goods.

The list of goods for which Iran receives customs privileges includes meat and oil products, certain types of confectionery and chocolate, as well as metals, cosmetics, certain types of electronic and mechanical equipment.

The Iranian side is also provided with tariff benefits with an extensive food list. Primarily for vegetables, fruits, dried fruits, as well as for building materials, tableware, carpets, and some non-ferrous metal products.

CT3 Certificate of Origin includes a lot of product information. For example, the name, address, and country of the exported enterprise are indicated. The country of issue and the country to which the goods are exported. Name, address and country of the importing/receiving company. The number and type of packages. A description of the product and other details are provided.

There are other formats of certificates of origin, depending on the States. For goods exported to the CIS countries, certificates are issued in the format "ST-1" ("CT-1"), for goods exported to Vietnam, certificates are issued in the form of "EAV", etc.
