Certificate of product origin

The certificate of origin of the goods must be obtained to confirm the country of origin of certain goods. The origin of goods is confirmed in all cases when the application of customs and tariff regulation measures, prohibitions and restrictions, measures to protect the domestic market depends on the origin of goods.

A certificate or declaration of origin is a commercial or any other document that refers to a product and contains information about the origin of the product from the country of origin of the product (group of countries, customs union of countries, region or part of the country) or the country of export of the product (group of countries, customs union of countries, region or part of the country) information declared by the manufacturer, seller or sender.

If it turns out that the information on the origin of the goods declared in the declaration on the origin of the goods is based on other standards, then the given declaration of the origin of the goods is not considered as a document on the origin of the goods.

When exporting goods from the customs territory of the Union, a certificate of origin of goods is issued by authorized state bodies or authorized organizations of the member States, if the specified certificate is required by the terms of the contract, the rules of the country of import of goods (group of countries, Customs Union of countries, region or part of the country) or if the certificate of origin of goods is provided by the Rules for determining the origin of exported goods.

The country of origin of the goods is the country in which the goods were fully produced or were last sufficiently processed.
